The WORST hot dog sausage I have tasted in my foodie life??!!

I really like both. Luckily, about a month ago the local had those 2 plus OM at half price. So I’ve got 6 packs of the first 2 in the freezer awaiting our next chili cheesedogfest.

Years ago I tried a tofu dog at a child’s birthday party. I love hot dogs so I remember thinking how bad could it be? Really really bad! I couldn’t finish it.

If either of my kids had been served a tofu dog at a birthday party, the very first stop on the way home would be for a REAL (mystery meat) hot dog!

We can barely finish that massive dog between the two of us. And no fries n gravy for me, plz

It is kind of strange no one can make a tasty fake dog. There are loads of tasty fake burger options. They do not taste like beef, but they are good. The other day I had a Morningstar Farms chili cheese burger “Tommy’s style,” griddled bun, American cheese, onion, tomato, yellow mustard, dill pickle chips, and no beans chili. It was superb.

I beg to differ.

Your loss bruv

Especially since we don’t have a Costco anywhere near us

But even if we did… keep your wet stuff off my crispies, bruv.

Even if you had a Costco close by, fries and gravy are a Canuck thing broskie :sunglasses:. Sorry for your loss

Yeah, I’ll cry myself to sleep tonight. Just like every night

Foodie friend of mine just sent me this…" Don’t worry! Trump will fix this "!!!

Costco’s $1.50 hot dog/soda combo is a good way to get an old fashion fat laden hot dog of reasonable quality and not have to buy a package. I haven’t had Costco hot dog for a couple of years, so it might be time.

They were also very much a thing in the DC area when I was in high school. They were sometimes called wet fries. A Mighty Mo and wet fries were my standard order at Hot Shoppes and at Topp’s, my two favorite spots.
