This four-decade-old char koay teow stall is one of the latest entrants to the Bib Gourmand list in the Michelin Guide 2024 to Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Lim Chong Jin, 67, fries up a mean plate of char koay teow - flat rice noodles, seared in lard, flavored with his own special blend of sauces, then garnished with shrimps, Chinese sausages, cockles and eggs.
