Fried chicken chains

I’ve discovered there are (at least) two styles of Korean fried chicken, one is sauced right before serving and the other served dry. The latter style, characterized by bonchon, is my preference. Our favorite chain serving this style is mad for chicken, to be fair, we’ve only been in their flushing branch, it’s a great space, service is fantastic as is their chicken.

Popeyes is my favorite American style chain, I like it, but given the caloric, sodium and fat ingestion, if I’m going to eat fried chicken, it has to be great, which leaves chains out. I’ve tried krispy krunchy, i think it’s overhyped cause it comes from a gas station/convenience store. Last time we had KFC, I took a bite and tossed it.

I do love Rise chicken and biscuit in nc, stop by every time I’m in the triangle.
